If you are a big fan of soldiers being revered as heroes, you might not like this one. Thankfully, I doubt there are very many patriots like that in my following.

The American military has done a lot of truly awful things, but Vietnam, in my mind stands as one of our worst displays of brutal, unnecessary force against innocent people. The American way was the right way. Anyone else was to be, well, Hector here will help tell us.

Ah yes, but the Vietnamese were the ones who were “primitive” and needed American assistance.
