Horny History: The Judge Rotenberg Center
It’s real history, as told by some dude in my inbox and me.
This post contains sensitive content on the abuse and torture of disabled children and adults, the majority of which are Black and Hispanic. Reader discretion is advised.
This story isn’t history yet. The abuse I’m about to talk about is still happening today.
I struggled finding horny men who wanted to hear about this one, so instead I told portions of the story to multiple men. Steven, Erik, David and Chef join us now with the story.
Where do we go from here? One of the biggest things you can do is help spread the story. The more awareness we can bring to this issue the better. It’s unbearable to think that as I type this, children are being abused in this manner.
Parents still send their kids here. Not only do they still intentionally send their children here, but they actively praise the school. Yet, you can not help but note that the happy stories of the school’s success come from the parents, who became free of the stress of caring for these children, and not from the children themselves. The JRC doesn’t turn away any students. Parents who have been turned away elsewhere find this school to be their only place to board their child.
These parents are why the school still exists. For the parents to support getting the school shut down, I suppose they would first have to admit to themselves they were letting their child get abused in exchange for more freedom in their own lives. I think for that reason, there will always be supporters of the school.
The majority of the students, however, are sent there and paid for by the state. One way to lessen the amount of children harmed, would be to write your representatives about it. Another great way to help would be to share this story.
Please also support Autistic Advocacy in their fight to help close the center here.

James M. Atkinson’s report to the police
Thank you for sharing the story, so it becomes better known. I would like to think that anyone could tell we're not using the "like" button because we "like" that it's happening! It's awful. I'm the parent of a child on the spectrum, and I'm disgusted and fruits that this happens to anyone, much less nonverbal children on the spectrum.
I tried to follow the link to James Atkinson's report/complaint, and was told it "can't be found". I thought I'd let you know.
I found it difficult to press the like button on this story. It’s well-written and needs to be told, but I definitely didn’t like reading it. Holy moly, that was horrible.
