I am so excited to share this one on Ruth Simpson’s strength standing up to authority. Ruth was the President of the Daughters of Bilitis, a lesbian rights organization in San Francisco. She’s one of the many women from that organization that stood up against the harassment they received from local law enforcement, and society
Our story begins with a not so willing Horny History participant.
I didn’t actually block him, so maybe he’ll be back one day when he learns how to Google Ruth Simpson.
This next guy though. This next guy knows how it’s done.
HE SAID I’M FUNNY. I’ll be honest, I like those times when the guy continues to be extremely horny in the face of some horrific history lesson. It cracks me up. Man though, I really love when I get a guy who in the very least feigns interest.
I found this sweet picture of Ruth at the Fidelifacts after writing this Horny History.
As always, I have suggestions for more ways to learn about this. Ruth Simpson wrote books AND she wrote a book about her experiences in the Daughters of Bilitis. She’s today’s if you want to read about it.
