Horny History: Day of Mourning (Thanksgiving part two)
It’s real history, as told by some horny dude in my inbox and me.
This post contains sensitive content on the brutal mistreatment of Indigenous Peoples. Reader discretion is advised.
I’ve been unfortunate enough to hear a lot about how Thanksgiving is canceled. How leftists are trying to ruin such a wholesome holiday. Thanksgiving has always been ruined. It’s based on a lie.
While opinions on the holiday will vary, many Indigenous people don’t want the holiday “canceled.” Many celebrate giving thanks for their life either on the American holiday, or on other days. It’s the fable of kind colonialism that needs to go.
This is a two part post, if you haven’t already read it, here’s the link to part one.
In protest of the lie of Thanksgiving, many join together in Day of Mourning demonstrations today. Nelson joins us now for more on that.
I am not Indigenous. I am sharing this story with the words of Indigenous people, but they are not a hive-mind, and some may disagree. Thanksgiving is a traumatic topic for all, but how to deal with that may vary. It’s best to listen to the Indigenous people around you.
