Horny History: Artemisia Gentileschi
It’s real history, as told by some horny dude in my inbox and me.

Born in 1593, at a time when women were regarded as little more than the property of their fathers or husbands, Artemisia Gentileschi had to beat down the male voices and hands that tried to suppress her. These men that tried to stop her from achieving her dream of being an artist.
I’ll take a maybe.
Artemisia lived before the term feminism was used. Today some people call her a feminist artist, and for good reason. The strength in which she painted and displayed these statements about the women showed that she was unhappy with the way women were treated. Her art said more than she was allowed to say.

Thank you.
It’s great when I see the name Gentilsechi…not so much that it’s usually her dad.
I prefer her work intellectually as well as for Feminism. I think she’s technically better than her father. I get pelted with buns if I say that too loud…
Her paintings are extraordinary, in so many ways 😍
