Horny History: Anne Bonny

Land ho, or was it Anne ho? Anne Bonny is often made out to be a whore. If you watch the Netflix special ‘The Lost Pirate Kingdom’, she’s in it, but seemingly only so they can show a beautiful woman sleeping with all the men. The truth is we really don’t know that much about Anne Bonny. What I’m going to say is what most historians writing about her say, but it still could be wrong, because her life wasn’t well documented at the time.

Today you get two horny men. A 23 year old douchebag and a man from Memphis join us to tell some things about Anne Bonny that are probably true.

Strangely that man didn’t want to hear history, and for good reason! How very creepy of me indeed. Thankfully there are so many more men yearning for a story. Here’s another.

I was hooked on Anne Bonny after seeing that picture of her sailing with her tits out. It seems so free to be on the water like that. Here again though her story may have been sexualized. Some historians say there’s no evidence she sailed like this and the images were only later added to sell copies of the book. However another historian I used as a source told how Anne and Mary would go into fights wearing men’s clothing but their shirts open exposing their breasts.

I don’t know about our “23 year old douchebag”, but Anne Bonny was badass.
